Great to see the rules again! However, unfortunately still, I can't post any video on YouTube due to the inaccessibility of registering a Google account in my area. Can I post the video on a host other than YouTube? Thanks!

You can send us the video and we will upload it to our own Youtube channel.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2017 - INSTRUCTIONS

Tried trial of 5 and totally loved it, but then I bought Radical Piano. With v6 out, I think I need to re-evaluate. But here is a question:

How can I record a demo with trial version? Aren't there some keys disabled? I remember few not working when I was trying v5 under Linux.

It is correct that the trial version has some disabled keys, but you may still use it in the video.

What is the policy regarding copyrighted compositions? Is it ok to upload a cover of a copyrighted piece?

Or should the contestants upload only free pieces under a CC license?

Thanks!

What each contestant uploads is under his/her responsibility and we do not evaluate whether a certain composition is copyrighted or not. The best would of course be if you ask the copyright owner for permission to use it, or rearrange the composition in a way so that it only has a restricted resemblance to the original composition.

What time zone of november 5 is the deadline exactly? I'm quite in a hurry so I need to know.
